2004 Vauxhall Vectra windscreen wipers fault

wipers work ok when I select fast and very fast, but when I try to use intermitten they wipe about 9 times then just stop on screen and the washer wiper stops and I have to get the wipers back to there rest position by using the stalk HELP. thanx DAVY

We had a vectra a few years ago with a wiper issue. It would never return to the normal position.
There is a wiper control box iirc near the fuse box
Replacing this solved our issues.
Unsure if this relates to your year. Ours was a 2002
