2005 Vauxhall Vectra car not pulling properly

Car: Vauxhall Vectra
Year: 2005
Variant: 1.8
Categories: Engine & Drivetrain
hi, My car stutters when first turned on and when it is warm it appears to "kangaroo" a little bit and appears not to pull properly. On asking around i have been told to replace the fuel filter from underneath the car, unfortunately i cant figure out how to remove the old one, it appears to be on a strap that has other fuel lines attached to it. I don't know if it has rusted on or if i need to replace the whole thing. The Haynes manual doesn't even show anything about it. Can anyone point me in the right direction regarding removal of this filter? Or even any other ideas on cause of "kangaroo petrol"

Fuel use is at it lowest when starting,or small throttle openings so I doubt your diagnosis,
Not that changing a filter isn't good practice though.
Vauxhall's more commonly suffer from fault coil packs, which fit your symptoms,or air flow meter fault, which don't always leave codes.
Get it scanned rather than asking around.
