this is my last thread on this car if l cannot get this fixed then its bye bye Vauxhall hallo vw the car on rare occasions gets unburnt fuel in the exhaust had new inlet manifold egr map sensor now with the fuel problem the garage tells me that the system isn't boosting tells me that he is sure that it isn't the turbo but l am thinking solenoids maybe wastegate stuck open or air leak on the turbo hoses or intercooler as l do get some turbo kick in at about 2500 revs THIS CAR HAS BEEN A MISSION ANY INPUT IS APPRECIATED

have you checked all air hoses for splits/leaks? have you had the car plugged into a diagnostics(dealer level) to see whats causing it?
are all your injectors running ok? all vacuum pipes/solenoid working ok?
Theres no reason whatsever Vauxhall shouldnt be able to remedy this fault.could also be ecu fault on odd aoccasion.(corrupt),but you wont know till you take it to get scanned & see results of live-data
ps:you dont want a golf trust me. DMF/injector(PD),main shaft bearing etc etc(especially the mk5

You could start by checking your turbo actuator rod is not seized and by using a mittivac guage you could pull a vac on the pipe that controls the actuator ,this would confirm that side is okay,
