2004 Vauxhall Vectra cold starting

Variant: 1.9cdti 16v estate

seem to getting a bit nearer to solving this problem there is no power getting to the glow plugs have changed the relay (no change)is the supply to the relay from a separate fuse have looked at the wiring diagrams but cant seem to get my head around it.

On the same subject ,

" IIRC, the glowplugs aren't needed if the ambient temperature is more than 3 degrees c, so that's maybe why your plugs haven't got any power going to them. Could be wrong though. "

thanks according to the Haynes manual if the temperature under the bonnet is less than 20c the glow plugs kick in

Check your relay is getting the feed it need,s the glow plug,s should be giving some assistance to start the thing also check earth is ok.
