I have a problem starting after refuelling my vectra it takes 2 or 3 good attempts to get it started when it does start it take a few seconds to get the revs up to normal idle is it a fuel supply problem? I've been told it could be the purge value not opening and closing right i don't really know any suggestions.

May well be .It releases excess fumes out of the charcoal canister that vents the fuel tank.
