2001 Vauxhall Vectra engine electronic light plus brain has stopped talking

last tuesday the engine electronic light came on and i began pulling over then car died. after several trys car wuudnt start and ee ight was still on. got AA out and of course the car started grand with no light, BUT when the fella tried his computer with mine, mine wudnt talk. we went to a local garage only for him to tell me the same thing bout the brain. problem now being no-one can get a fauultt code as the brain is not communicating. any advise????

you might have to take it to vauxhall to get it checked out

im afraid it could be the ecu has gone same thing happened to a friends zafira and it isnt a cheap or quick fix but on a lighter note its possible its a blown fuse so check all the fuses
