At what temperature should the fans kick in

Can anybody tell me at what temperature should the fans kick in my vectra isn't overheating but the temperature is going just passed 90 degrees with it been a taxi and doing short journeys I'm a bit worried

Dont know about that particular car but have found that a lot of engine coolant fans wont kick in till nearly in the red on temp gauge .A few times , I have thought the fans were not working they were taking so long and then they operated .

It should come on at 100 degrees and switch off at 95 degrees.

If worried you may be able to get an earlier opening sensor / transmitter , but may be operating o.k if not overheating .
