2002 Vauxhall Vectra drivers side rear door lock and droning noise from rear left wheel

the drivers side rear door doe'snt open, the central locking works, the door knob goes up and down but the door does'nt open, and there is a droning noise when driving from the rear left wheel, fairly new tyres on both rear wheels

Droning noise is prob wheel bearing jack the car up and try to move the hub by placing one hand at the top of the wheel and one at the bottom and push and pull on it if it moves it's the bearing your door is another thing you will have to remove the door card and open the door asing the leavers inside the door you may find that the linkage has come adrift stay happy
