bought vauxhall vectra 2,2 sri 2003 begining of month had noisy cam chain and slight miss had new cam chain kit fitted still missing garage said need a new coil pack so that has been fitted prior to this a new egr valve was replaced still missing please could some body help me with were to go next

Double check timing has been set up correctly , check the plugs and compressions .

Can you isolate the miss to a particular cylinder ,then try swapping plug,injector over and see if that alter,s it,other possible is compression down.
