Engine rev dip

2001 Vauxhall Vectra Estate 1.8 tourer
Car: Vauxhall Vectra
Year: 2001
Variant: Estate 1.8 tourer
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
Hi....I have a 51 plate Vauxhall Vectra Estate Petrol 1800. The problem is every few miles revs die going down to idle speed. A dab of the throttle and engine returns to normal. It never actually cuts out. It happened today 4 times in 10 miles. Has been doing this for 3 weeks now. No warning lights come on in dashboard and no other faults with engine.
Would be grateful for thoughts.
Thanks in advance.

Just noticed that it's a 1.8 .On that model I think idle control valve is built into the throttle body .
