2003 Vauxhall Vectra electrics fail while driving and return when stoped

Odd problem with my vectra, once every week or two while driving my vectra all of the electrics fail. Lights external and internal, heater, power steering all fail but radio stays on fine.
Now when I stop the car all the electrics come back on, start moving again and it all fails. Have checked alternator and batty and there both working fine. Any ideas?

Possibly ignition switch can you feel any play there ,that would be my first port of call and any codes to guide a fix?

ignition switch feels fine no fault codes. just to update the question some times this problem starts after 5 or so miles some times it doesn't start until I have covered about 50???
