2002 Vauxhall Vectra lack of power

Check for fault codes first .or when did you last replace your filter or is the fuel quality okay.

i would start with getting your fault codes read first then give it a good service with a full set of fillters then i would move on to your egr valve its very comon for these to become clogged with heavy carbon deposits which can stop them working corrctley causing the symptoms described they can be striped and cleaned using carb cleaner etc also check the throttle body they also bocome blocked

Most possibly airflow sensor. diagnistics may display boost valves and turbo regulator.

If you disconnect the maf and try the car the ECM will find a default value and car will rev as normal this will tell you if the maf is the fault .

Just recently ive had problems of power loss and car feeling sluggish when i excelerate, its not constant but is present more when i have to slow down and then excelerate. I've also got a car/spanner light that flickers on and off on the dashboard.

Ive checked the air filter and a few months ago i had to replace the injectors.

Anyone got any ideas what the problem could be??????
