1996 Vauxhall Vectra heater will only blow cold

car was taking a long time to reach operating temp:,heater will only blow cold.i decided to change thermostat-only to find some individual had removed it for some reason?.replaced thermo:,warm improved but still only blows cold from heater

sounds like you have a blockage in the heater matrix locate the hoses going in through the bulk head in to the matrix remove one of the hoses and run the hose pipe through it and this should remove any blockage you have
