2008 Vauxhall Vectra rear luggage compartment light not working.
Year: 2008
Variant: 1.9cdti elite manual estate
luggage compartment light not working. Tested power at lamps with test light. Power at lamps.Looked for tailgate switch or mercury switch in tailgate, can't locate. Was wondering if operated by tailgate lock ie micro switch in lock. Driving me crazy. Any help most appreciated.

If you have got power at the lights then the switch is working. Have you tested the bulbs???...

I have already checked lamps they are ok. The power at the lamps is a permanent feed, this is why im asking if any one knows where the switch would be located when the tailgate is opened. I can not find one so there for i think it may be built into the locking mechanisim. Can any one throw any light on the situation would be most appreciated. Thanks.
