2008 Vauxhall Vectra rest the insp notification

I had the Car Serviced recently but the Insp notification was not reset. Can I do this myself - if yes - how?? or do I need to take it to a Dealer to get it reset,

ask the garage who serviced it to reset it alternativeley ask on the vectra c owners club web site lots of vaux tech guys on there

switch the ignition on, no need to start, press the trip re-set button and keep it pressed, switch ignition off then back on then release trip button, this should do it, garage who serviced it should do this as part of service, cheers nyloc
