My passenger windscreen wiper stopped working, when checking the ball joint on the link arm had worn loose so i used some flexi weld, this worked for about a day and then the passenger side come loose, i have tried the same thing however will not take due to the angle of the joint, the garage is trying to make me have a full new unit fitted for the cost of £156, any idea how i can work around this?

you could try locating a second hand unit try some of the online sources such as 24/7 spares i have used them many times with no probs
