hi my vectra will tow start and run sweet but not when u turn the key it just turns over can u help

could be a faulty ignition switch that is losing the contacts to the ignition circuit when the key is cranking the starter,try putting the ignition on and supplying the starter trigger wire terminal with a supply to see if it starts(make sure its not in gear).thats battery + to small wire on starter a remote starter would be ideal as you are less likely to touch anything metallic and short anything out
