2005 Vauxhall Vectra diesel injectors

Car: Vauxhall Vectra
Year: 2005
Variant: 1.9 cdti sri 150
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
The injector sealing rings went on my car recently.

I got the new copper washers for the base of them today and hit a bump almost instantly.

has anyone got any hints or tips about how to remove these injectors without the expense of purchasing a removal tool. They had obviously been going a long time and i havent noticed because they were completely coated with carbon and oil deposits.

Anyway i have tried all ways possible to get them out the head but they appear to b stuck fast, and to make matters worse when i gave up and put it all back together the engine wont start at all, just keeps turning like it wants to go but cant. Anyone any ideas?

cheers,

Stuart

You could try a little of the wife's oven cleaner but I wouldn't bet on usually they need a hydraulic puller if they're that bad.
And,sorry to bear bad news but you do know the seats will need recut with the special tool?
Just fitting new copper seals doesn't usually work.
Might be time to call your local diesel specialist, the seat cutter is around a £100 to buy, hydraulic puller a lot more!
