engine light comes on in bottom dash, but the engine runs fine and smooth !

i have same problem, there is a part that needs replaced not sure of name, cost £125 for part. there is some sort of liquid that you can add to your fuel but that costs £20 quid ago. Will know more this thur when mine is fixed, if no joy will let you know more then.

It is not advisable to ignore it just because the car seems ok. You will need to get the codes read to find out the fault

Mind needed a new egr. £125 for part.
