2000 Vauxhall Vectra speedo,abs tc

Car: Vauxhall Vectra
Year: 2000
Variant: 2.0 CD 16 valve
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
This is an intermittent problem that is getting more frequent. While driving the speedo will zero and the ABS and TC warning lights come on.and if the throttle is still down ,no difference is noticed , until foot off throttle and engine will stall. I can restart and carry on. Then , suddenly the speedo returns and the warning lights go out and the car drives normal. Dealership unable to diagnose due to 'no communication between their equipment and the ECU. They suggested that it might be the ABS pump and the ECU. Another suggested that it could be the ABS ECU. Very confusing. Can anyone help.

Many possible causes , could be instrument cluster fault , wheel bearing with the ABS sensor or there's a known fault on some where the connections on the high speed CAN bus may become waterlogged and corroded . This connector is usually under the passenger side scuttle panel.
