FAN NOT WORKING

1998 Vauxhall Tigra 1.4 Auto
Car: Vauxhall Tigra
Year: 1998
Variant: 1.4 Auto
Categories: Electrics, ECU, Warnings & Lights
Hi I am having a problem with the fan on my Vauxhall Tigra 1.4 Auto. The fan itself works as we had to bypass the original cable that attaches to the fan with a cable from the fan to the battery so we have to make sure the fan is turned off when we are not using the car. So I know its either the sensor/thermostat or the cable/plug that attaches to the fan.

If anyone has any ideas on what part I may need that will be great.

Many Thanks. Trin.

Bridge the wires at fan thermal switch / sensor and see if it works . If so knackered switch / sensor .
