Need to LOAD test battery and check alternator charging o.k If battery has dud cell or alternator faulty ( or both ) could be inadequate power for engine

The only light on the dashboard is a spanner no other warning lights only had the car just over a week and it's been running fine until this morning turn the key flat battery then got no power on the accelerator so the car wouldn't move

I will try this later when I get home just can't understand why the batteries run down overnight

If you have a dud cell , battery is knackered and wont hold a charge , or you have a drain on electrics

So would that cause it not to have an acceleration and a spanner to be on the dashboard

You should always start a new post rather than tag on to an old one as it can go unnoticed First thing I would check are the two fuses for the steel roof in the engine compartment fuse box , pull both and then refit back Vauxhall Tigra II (Twin Top) – (2004 – 2008) – fuse box diagram Year of production: 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 Fuse box in engine compartment Vauxhall Tigra - fuse box - engine compartment -engine z13dt Vauxhall Tigra – fuse box – engine compartment -engine z13dt Vauxhall Tigra - fuse box - engine compartment - engine z13dt Vauxhall Tigra – fuse box – engine compartment – engine z13dt Vauxhall Ttigra - fuse box - engine compartment - others engine Vauxhall Ttigra – fuse box – engine compartment – others engine Vauxhall Tigra - fuse box - engine compartment - others engine Vauxhall Tigra – fuse box – engine compartment – others engine The fuse box is located in the engine compartment next to the coolant expansion tank.
