Fuses checked, all fine. there is a continuous beeping when press down on roof button. All checks beforehand done, handbrake, neutral etc. Still nothing. Tried new battery. Nothing just beeping, retractable roof stays shut.

Sadly the alcohol solution and earbud cleaning did not work. I suspect one of the sensors is down. Regretfully i am not mechanically minded so my input is zero. I will have to get someone to take a look at it which is a pain as i only paid £1000 for it 4 months ago to get me into work at night so id hate to be spending on it but needs must. Thanks for your help, much appreciated.

Looks like you have no alternative to scan with Tech 2/3 or similar for fault codes .Don't know if I mentioned to look inside the boot left hand side , near the hinge and boot ram there should be a small wiring loom held in by a clip, Open it up and see if the wires are broken / damaged / chafed inside there.
