Today i have changed my car battery as the car failed on me. Since changing it the ABS light is still coming on then the car fails.

Could this be the Alternator?

I have checked fuses, connections and leads, all are ok.

Help please

Best to get the codes checked ,and alternator checked that it,s charging ok,There is a specific code that,s generated if the alternator is the cause.

If the ABS light was on previously , changing the battery wont cure it , more likely to be faulty sensor. You will have to supply more info i.e is the car turning over ?What do you mean exactly by "car failed on me" What engine is in car?

If alternator not charging it will knacker/drain new battery .Simple two min job to check alternator output with a meter .
