I have a leak, from a cylinder just after the petrol tank that has pipes in and out, is this the filter and how hard to replace? and is it safe to drive to go and get apart?

Yes thats the fuel filter. I cant remember how to change it but it will be safe enough to drive. i think it is held on with a 13mm bolt and strap, but not sure.
