2006 Vauxhall Meriva boot lock stickimg

Boot lock stays locked when using remote key. Have to leave car locked and try again after about 10 mins sometimes unlocks sometimes not. Any ideas?

xounds like problem with boot lock motor,check the wiring plug is secure onto the motor and that no wires are damaged,also check the wiring from the body to the tailgate is`nt damaged,if all looks fine then you may need a new lock motor

Pull off trim and check connections / wiring for any dampness etc. Spray with WD 40 and see if it fixes fault.
