2004 Vauxhall Meriva service light

Had to clean suction valve.Now it cuts out under load or after one minute idling.If I disconnect the power it works fine but light stays on.can I wire power back into itself without damaging the "brain"?

not sure if it's egr.description says it controls fuel input in common rail engine,to ensure even running,but if I re-attatch electrics it won't idle more than a minute and cuts out under load
