Engine Management Light coming on

2003 Vauxhall Meriva 1600
Car: Vauxhall Meriva
Year: 2003
Variant: 1600
Categories: Electrics, ECU, Warnings & Lights
Engine maanagement light started only coming on when the car had been running for 9 - 10 miles, or when maybe it had warmed up, but was very intermitant, sometimes after being run the light would come on but in the cold snap that we have just had then it didnt come on until it had warmed up again, and it goes into Limp Home Mode

Had it put on the computer which came up with pedal sensor,P0110!!! can anybody come up with any other sugestions have read it could be the coil.

had engine warning light on vauxhall meriva 1600 cc it got hot and starting to missfire the code number come up on missfire on mumber(2) took it to a vauxhall garage they put it on a diagnostic machine the results told me that the E.C.U. was faulty and the compression rings was warn out on cylinder (1)and(4)they changed the coilpack but all i did ichanged the H.T. lead on mumber(2) the car is working perfect with no warning light comming on i found to start first to illuminate these big problems and save money and change the H.T.leads first. best of luck to you all with your driving,DAVE. xx
