I have an intermittent fault where my car dies at low speeds without warning but starts again after a few minutes i have found there is a recall for issue with chafing wire harness to transmission which an electrical machanic i had look at it thought maybe the issue but need more investigation which my be costly as it was a recall for meriva b which i have and same year but different vin number is this worth pursuing with vauxhall.

A phone call wouldn't go wrong . If not covered by recall and wiring examined and o.k , check / clean MAF sensor and spark plugs also

Thanks called Vauxhall the say the recall is for a different size engine. The maf sensor was replaced also just had to do timing chain even though I have only done 50000 miles. Vauxhall dealer says to check connection to ignition module as seem a common fault anyone else know of this. Honest since I have had this Meriva I have spent so much money on it and has been serviced annually even a new ECU. Worst car ever.
