My 2015 Meriva B has UK adjustable headlights. Are they acceptable for permanent use in the EU? Will they pass European tests?

Your h/lamps are only adjustable up and down and not dipping correctly for the EU as far as I am aware . But so many changes in legislation nowadays I am not up to date . If you contact the AA i am sure they will advise you better .
