My heating blows out only cold air and I had before the code 4 on my dashboard, Air condition off which WAS off... is that related?

First thing to check would be coolant level and if any signs of overheating .With the code 4 you need to get it scanned to see what triggered the code . Other possible checks for example would be to see if the heater hoses are getting hot as they should when engine at working temp . Need that info if still having problems after previous suggestions and scan. check result. Could also be a heater flap problem if everything checks out
