Have tapping noise when engine his started but goes when your on the road accelerating any advise thank you but no loss of power

Possibly a noisy tappet,would check your oil level is okay, a flush and oil and filter change may help ,difficult to know without actually hearing it ,but as it’s only there when started and idling then goes away as oil pressure is increased when vehicle is driven that could be it.

If that doesn't cure it ( may well do ) , possible timing chain rattle ?
