Would swap the relay over with another less important one and see if it cures your issue, probably just 4 pin standard relay

Cheers Mate, I've swapped/ replaced relay several times, had a local 'muckanic' look at it , it was then suggested by Vauxhall that it was a faulty fuel pump, £400 later still same problem , I then had an auto electrician diagnose it for me, he said power steering pump ( I had got a problem with power steering, common on these I've found out since). My power steering is cured after a head scratching task of replacing the pump and £400 exchange unit, still the relay problem persists, I've now been looking at forums, websites that suggest the ECU has a problem and that it will need replacing!!! Another expensive job! will update with conclusion unless some one comes up with an alternative fix.

There is an issue with battery earth lead on some models 13423859 earth lead and 90147917 protective strip are parts to remedy a high resistance in battery earth lead, that’s all I can find for this issue.

A failing crank sensor can cause non start when hot and then o.k when cooled down .
