2011 Vauxhall Meriva starting problem.
Year: 2011
Variant: 1.7cdti
Occasionally with key in ignition but in off position the car will start on its own, the car is an automatic transmission and normally foot has to be on foot brake and either in P or N to start, does anybody any idea what the cause of this problem is or had this problem themselves?

There was a fault a few years back with Zafiras starting on their own I think it was a fault on the wiring harness / starter circuit . Needs checking out with auto electrician.
