2004 Vauxhall Meriva cd30 info screen

I have a Vauxhall meriva with a Cd30 audio system. It's works ok BUT when I switch on the ignition I lose the display panel which goes black. Can anyone help please?

If the radio has been changed apparently that causes this problem .
" That is because the radio and display are coded together.
You need to code the new radio with your existing display. The new radio will need to be divorced, easy if you got a code with it or it's already done.
If it is not divorced it will need decoding."
