2006 Vauxhall Meriva no power getting to ecu

NO POWER GETTING TO ECU, checked fuses,checked relays all ok, connected to computer put no signal found to ecu. garage now thinks it is an immobilizer problem. please help

Ignition sensor is supposed to register the chip in the key and switch off the immobiliser and so the little key light on the dash.
Is this happening?

I have a similar problem with my vauxhall meriva not getting any power to ecu. checked fuses etc no joy :)
has anyone come up with a fix???
