Intermittent start when hot

2010 Vauxhall Meriva 1.7 cdti
Car: Vauxhall Meriva
Year: 2010
Variant: 1.7 cdti
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
Hi hope some one can help I have a 60 plate meriva that is intermittent start particular when hot. There's no warrning lights or fault codes. It's fully serviced and everything is up to date on it. One mechanic says it could be a fuel pressure problem. Vauxhall have no idea!

The car runs fine and when it does start its with no issues what so ever

As much feed back as possible is great fully received

Difficult one,
Fuel pressure reg?
maybe but I'd expect that to show up as a blip on live data read.
So as it's not constant I'd be checking the carbon canister and the canister solenoid.
And if you didn't know the canister stores fuel fumes from the petrol tank and then the solenoid is triggered to dump said fumes into the intake,
ONLY at very specific times and engine running conditions.
NOT ON START UP.
A fault in this system would make for a very VERY rich starting mix.
Of course once started the fumes would be gone so there'd be no running issues.
