2004 Vauxhall Meriva won't start after long journeys

Has new starter motor and battery, starts when cold but after a long journey it won't re start, have to wait 40 minutes then it starts, any ideas what this could be?

A faulty crankshaft sensor can cause this fault .Check wiring to sensor , clean or replace sensor .
