2006 Vauxhall Meriva 1.6 16v easytronic
Car: Vauxhall Meriva
Year: 2006
Variant: 1.6 16v easytronic
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
parked car, switched engine off, went to start up, engine started OK. no fault lights but when selected reverse there was no drive, tried forward no drive, also very slow to pick up any revs. connected a OBD code reader but showed no faults. Had a similar problem three years ago but I had a fault code for that as brake disk censer, that was cured by simply resetting the code. Anyone any idea's please?

You need a scanner that can access the gearbox ECU.
Vaux Tech II or OPcom will do it.,

Thanks 1/4 drive, I gave up with the mickey mouse scanner and used my laptop with op-com, found fault code p1732 straight away, its 2-3 shift malfunction relating to a selector solenoid, all I have to do now is identify it. I have tech11 software but will only work on win XP. A different code but same fault to last time. If any body can help except for supplying a match I will look forward to hearing from you. Many thanks again for your help.
