2010 Vauxhall Meriva spluttering then traction control and emission lights come on

When pulling away from lights or roundabouts the car splutters and judders then both the the traction control and the emission lights come on . When I stop and knock the car off they disappear. Have taken it to the local garage but nothing shows up on the diagnostic computer.

Would check the plugs and coil pack , for intermittent misfire .

Hi I have exactly the same problem I changed my coil pack and spark plugs but now the juddering has gone but now the engine management is staying on rather than flashing, just wondering if you sorted yours ????

We have been told that it could possibly be caused by cheap supermarket fuel At the moment we are trying some from a main dealer eg. ESSO . We will keep you informed if it works . It certainly seems a bit better at the moment but only time will tell when we have used up all the other fuel in the tank.
