Had the car just over 2 months, and i have had to use about 10lts of screen wash, i live in a rural area and i am forever washing the back of the car (2-3 times a week) have had to start carring a 5lt bottle of screen wash with me at all times. As well as having to clean the rear number plate daily to avoid being stopped by the police !

Will mud flaps fix this ? (Mine currently has no rear mud flaps)

I have heard (from a decent chap at a vauxhall dealership) that the genuine vauxhall ones are mainly cosmetic and don't solve the problem.

Are there any other solutions ?

Could try using rally type mud-flaps rather than standard VX flaps /
