Power Steering not working

2010 Vauxhall Meriva Meriva B new shape
Car: Vauxhall Meriva
Year: 2010
Variant: Meriva B new shape
Categories: Steering, Suspension, Brakes, Wheels & Tyres
The power steering light came on so I decided to check it out I was told the pump is the problem so we changed that and then I was told that it's the column so I changed that too. All this has cost me hundreds of pounds. But after this the mechanic tell me that after all this it's still not working. So he is sending me too another mechanic and he him self is the second mechanic. Please tell me someone what's the problem with my car, it's a hydrolic pump not an electric one.

And if someone will buy it to fix it themselves please do saving me the headache. It's a fully loaded car with panoramic roof. 4000.

However I would rather fix it as it's worth around 6 - 7 grand.
