hi, this is not a problem as such. gonna be taking out my passenger seat ,and replacing it with a disabled car seat .my seat at present has airbags in it.so removing this seat and replacing it with disabled seat which has no electrics to or from it ,as it is removable from car to become a wheel chair.problem is how to disable the electrics for the airbag,as this is gonna show as a fault on the dash ,will this cause any other problems with the cars electrics.all other air bags will be left to function properly. any advice would be greatfully recieved. did speak to a vauxhall garage and he did`nt know without going to the trouble of getting in touch vauxhall technical lot.

your air bags will or should still work but you will not be able to lose the fault as your system is set up to run all air bags and if you take one out the system records a fault you could get round it by fitting an air bag from a scrap car but it would have to be bolt it down (how ever taking an air bag out diy style is not a good idea)
