When moving off handbrake in on position put in to gear lift clutch to biting point the brakes should release. My car is not doing that,I have to release them manually I this normal

Radio / satnav touchscreen console

Not able to turn on the console at all , either automatically when car starts up and not able to do manually. So can’t use satnav, phone, radio , Apple play , Bluetooth .. all not available because central console won’t turn on .
