2023 Vauxhall Grandland X boot keeps closing whilst getting mobility scooter in boot

Boot keeps closing on head and really hurts !!
Switch to turn sensor off not working
Happens Numerous times especially Whilst winching mobility scooter in boot ....
Car been into vauxhall 5 times no resolution
Handing car back as sick of bumps on head .... ( motability vehicle)

Surprised they cant resolve this fault , quite right in returning as not fit to your requirements / needs

They said it could be turned off but switch to do this obviously doesn't work as it still closes in both on and off . They've tried everything.... would be great for any non disabled person not using hoist but thought better to tell folk as I've lost my tow bar and quite a lot on down payment I can't get back so in 11months it's took for them to finally say they've tried everything I'm the only one out of pocket And yet another bump on my head ...

Can mobility specialists not supply a solution ? Sure they must be others with this problem . Maybe worth a call ?

Motability are offering to end contract early
Dealership tried everything
Nothing more to try
Actually dangerous and causing personal injury
I ll be happy to see the back of it
Just wanted to warn others with wheelchair and hoists this is an issue ...
So they don't lose out like I have ....
