2018 Vauxhall Crossland X crossland x 5189 miles

Car: Vauxhall Crossland X
Year: 2018
Variant: petrol 1.2 litre ultimate
Categories: Electrics, ECU, Warnings & LightsEngine & Drivetrain
In the last 14 months car has had a fuel pump allowing fuel to mix with oil in engine causing "limp mode" activation, garage replaced pump.
Followed a couple of weeks later with engine not starting and after persevering engine would start but in "limp mode" , Camshaft sensor replaced.
Both items replaced under warranty thankfully.
Now 13 months later non start RAC called out to tow to garage, yet again Camshaft sensor needs replacing this time out of warranty and costing £248 to fix,
Am I just unlucky or are all Crossland x's like this one.

Would not be my choice of car in that category . Should not have two failures of camshaft sensor in that mileage and time . Would have thought Vauxhall would have replaced again even though part just out of warranty .I would be questioning the dealership for answers on this . I ran a VX dealership at one time and would have got that replaced free of charge if one of my customers , under the circumstances and facts you describe
