Hi Guys....I would be grateful if someone could help me with the problem of my 2007 Corsa 1.2 SXI, which loses power, not straight after starting but approx 1 mile into the journey, but then it will find the power again and take off like a rocket, and the cycle is repeated periodically throughout the journey. I had a 'Major' Service at Halfords in May, which cost 225 btw. Surely this would have been checked/changed...?

Should tell you on invoice what parts were fitted .It depends on mileage whether the likes of plugs are due to be replaced .Also some " major services " leave much to be desired if not carried out by dealer and as per book service schedules. Coil packs are normally only replaced when they fail / break down .

Agree'd another point, did they replace the fuel filter?

Have you ever replaced the air flow meter or other known as air flow sensor?

How many miles is on the car?
