Turn key all dash lights come on as norm turn key to start and it does't turn over but flashes up "N" on dash, any ideas!!

When you try to start the car, you need to depress the brake pedal at the same time.

owner has had car from new so presume he knows about pressing brake pedal, he is selling the car with this problem just wondered if its worth a punt!!

Could try getting it scanned for any faults!!!!.

Brake pedal switch can cause this fault .

When brake pedal is depressed, do the brake lights come on???.
