hi, sounds like the gearlinkage is worn.
vauxhall do a modified one, about £70.

yes replace the gearbox linkage and the service pin which will cost about 90 pound to the public over the counter any of the dealers will have plenty of stock as this is very very common on the corsas

I have a problem with getting into first gear. Sometimes second is a problem too. This seems to clear when the engine warms up. I have it booked into a garage but am worried that I might get ripped off. Any ideas as to what the problem might be?
