theres no heat coming from the heater it just blows cold air out the fan works but no heating

You may have no water in the cooling system, or the heater control valve/cable could be at fault.

i too had this very problem weeks ago,after renewing the thermostat to my L reg corsa 1.2 i found my heater still not working i took off both pipes to the matrix,situated at the bulk head,back of the engine and blew both pipes out with an airline,obviously was an obstruction in my matrix as the heater works perfectly now,hope this helps....now....back to my clicking on my volvo?
